Achieve More in 90 Days Than Most People Do in a Year: The 5-Step Plan for Massive Progress

By Kristina Karlsson, Founder of Dream Life

Do you ever feel like time is flying, and your big goals keep rolling over from year to year? If so, you’re not alone! Most people start the year with great intentions but struggle to stay focused.

But what if I told you that you could achieve more in one quarter than most do in a whole year? Sounds impossible? It’s not—and I’ll show you how.

The secret is focused, intentional action—not just setting goals, but breaking them into a clear 90-day plan with daily and weekly steps.

So, if you’re ready to fast-track your success, let’s dive into the 5 steps to achieving more in the next 90 days than ever before!

1. Set ONE Big Goal for the Quarter

The biggest mistake people make? Trying to do too much at once. Instead of juggling multiple goals, choose one major goal—the thing that will create the most impact in your life.

Ask yourself: If I could only achieve ONE goal in the next 90 days, what would make the biggest difference?

It could be:

  • Writing your book
  • Launching a side business
  • Creating a strong fitness habit
  • Building a consistent morning routine

Whatever it is, commit to it. Clarity creates momentum.

2. Break It Down into Monthly Milestones

Big goals can feel overwhelming. That’s why we break them into smaller steps:

  • Month 1: Lay the foundation – What do you need to set up?
  • Month 2: Build momentum – What actions will move you forward?
  • Month 3: Refine and complete – How will you finish strong?

Write these milestones in your Dream Life Journal and keep them visible.

3. Create Weekly Action Steps

Now, make it even simpler. Each week, choose three key actions that move you closer to your goal.

For example, if your goal is writing a book:

  • Week 1: Outline your chapters
  • Week 2: Write 2,000 words
  • Week 3: Edit the first section

Small, consistent progress leads to massive results.

4. Use Daily Rituals to Stay on Track

Your habits create your future.

Ask yourself: What small daily rituals will help me stay focused?

  • Morning journaling to set intentions
  • Blocking 90 minutes daily for deep work
  • Nightly reflections on progress

This keeps your goal at the forefront, helping you avoid procrastination.

5. Get Accountability & Support

Success isn’t meant to be a solo journey. Having a coach and a community can keep you motivated and on track.

That’s why I created the Dream Life Coaching Program—to help you plan your 90-day goals, stay accountable, and take action with confidence.
