Hello & welcome back!
The time between Christmas and New Year is my favourite time of the year. I love having some real down time.
I’ve slept a lot, read a lot and also taken time to reflect on the year we just had – using the reflection questions in the Dream Life Plan Your Year Journal (which contains all of the tools I’ve refined over many years for planning my year ahead).
When you take time to reflect, you find valuable lessons that you can use as you plan for the year ahead.

MY 22 LESSONS FROM 2022:
- That the hardest part of your life is often the thing that makes you grow the most and that is the one thing you can then use to help others
- That you will have the same lessons over and over until they become so loud that you have to listen to it and change
- That it’s only you who can make your dreams come true
- That being around like positive and like-minded people who are also chasing their dreams is so inspiring for your own life
- That one habit can change your life – try different ones until you find the one that makes a big difference
- That your phone can steel hours, days, months or even years of your life. Be mindful how much time you spend on your phone
- That reading 10 pages a day is a great start if you want to read more books
- That starting the day by walking outside in nature, seeing the sun rise is the best way to start the day
- That reflecting on your days, weeks, months, quarter, and year can make a big difference how you plan the new year
- That a good night sleep solves a lot of things
- That there is no doubt you can create your dream life, you just have to work on it every single day and eventually it will happen even if it takes a while
- That having a coffee on your own, in silence and doing nothing but drinking that coffee is a beautiful ritual
- That recording your daily wins makes you feel that you are doing well and making progress every day
- That you can do hard things and that is so rewarding
- That writing or journaling can clear your head
- That everyone deals with self-doubt and the only way of overcoming that is to find the courage to take action
- That starting the day right makes the whole day a lot better
- That decluttering effects your whole life, not just your environment
- That when feeling unmotivated a walk and an inspiring podcast or audio book can turn that around
- That drinking lots of water can make a big difference in how much work you get done
- That having the right mindset is really important when you want to create your dream life
- That a new fresh year is a great opportunity to make it your best year ever and a year goes so fast so start today
