Hi there, and welcome back to another episode. Oh, I had a really big week last week, and you are so inspiring. On so many different levels. One thing that I did was a new keynote, and it's a keynote where I talk about all my learnings having started my first business, kikki.K, which I'm no longer part of, but I have so many learnings to share on that journey and also how I coped with losing it all.

And I feel like there are. So many learnings in there. So I really want to share that. And my new dream and goal for this financial year, so from 1st of July to the end of June next year, is to do 104 talks. And I'm sharing that just in case someone knows someone who needs a speaker, and also to inspire you to share your dreams.

Because when we share our dreams, it's getting more real. And also you don't know who can help you. But today's episode is not about public speaking. It's about wellness. And if you are a frequent listener to this podcast, you know that I am all for inspiring you to live your dream life. And to live our dream life, we really have to focus on our health and wellbeing.

So we have the energy to create our dream life and make all our dreams and goals happen in our lifetime. So do you want to improve your wellbeing, but not sure where to start?

There are so many things that you can do and there are so many tips and so much advice out there, but I believe that the best place to start is with self-awareness and small steps to explore various aspects of your own wellness, because wellness is unique to everyone.

So I'm really excited to say that we have created a wellness journal that will guide you gently on that exploration. It's over a 10 week period and it's going to help you to find what works for you. So in today's episode, I'm going to share a few things that you could do to get your focus on your health and wellbeing so you can create your dream life.

And I'm going to start with a saying that I say. All the time on this podcast, and that is progress, not perfection. That's a saying that I have loved since the day I first heard it, and I couldn't think of a better three words to inspire you to start your own wellness journey. So I'm going to encourage you to take a moment right now as you're listening to this, to close your eyes if it's safe to do so and visualize the healthiest.

Most vibrant and well version of you. Really focus, see the detail. Feel everything you can feel as you imagine yourself glowing with wellness. Once you've done that, I am going to encourage you to write down any words or draw any pictures that comes to mind to describe what you've just visualized in our wellness journals.

There are space to do that, but if you don't have a wellness journal, start with just writing it down. There is a great Chinese proverb. The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the second best time. Is now, and that goes with wellness, of course. Yes, you could have started ages ago, but today is the next best time to do that.

So our wellness journal is something that we worked on for a long time because I really wanted to make it amazing. And the journal will be your companion and guide on a really transformative wellness exploration. And as you embark on that path, remember that it's not about thriving for perfection, but it's about embracing progress and growth.

At the end of the day, you are here to create a life you love one step at the time, and it's really important to let your heart guide you, not just your head. And also remember that you are the one who has the power to shape your own wellness and create positive changes in your own life and each day. In our wellness journal, we will provide you with gentle prompts to reflect on different aspect of your wellbeing and take small actions towards improvement.

But of course it's up to you to do the work, but I'm going to encourage you to embrace the simple prompts that we have created in the journal as opportunities for self-discovery, growth release, and self-care. And as you progress through the journey in our wellness journal, you will find ample blank spaces ready to be filled with your thoughts, your doodles, reflections, ideas and plans, and simple check-ins to help you keep track of your state or wellbeing and progress.

And of course, all of it, having a accumulate positive impact on progressing your own wellbeing. And remember, the journey of a thousand Mile begins with one single step. Your wellness journal has been carefully created for you. To guide you on a 10 week daily wellbeing journey. It's designed to empower and support you to focus on your own wellbeing, making daily progress towards the life that you love.

I'm going to encourage you to embrace the opportunity to be honest and kind with yourself while you're doing this. It's your starting point and will serve you as your baseline. First of all, it will help you see the progress you make over time on all the pillars of your wellbeing, your mindfulness, nutrition, exercise, sleep, future dreams, meaningful relationships, and self-care practices.

There are so much joy that will come in the days and weeks and months ahead when you look back at where you came from, and of course, celebrate your progress and commitment to living well. So in the journal we got daily reflection. So every day you'll be guided through a theme from an aspect of wellness.

You'll find a unique and inspiring quote relating to the theme, and you'll be prompted to reflect and journal your thoughts, embrace these beautiful moments of learning and self exploration. And then we've got weekly and monthly check-ins, reflection and intentions. Each week and month, you'll get to pause, check in on your progress, reflect and set intentions for the week or month ahead, and help you to give you a valuable sense of perspective.

And I really wanna say that it's all about small actions when it comes to wellbeing, and the journal emphasizes the power of small, meaningful actions that you take every single day. As you reflect and journal, consider the simple step that you can take to improve and nurture your wellbeing. And most importantly, write these down and commit to incorporating them into your daily routine.

Remember, it all adds up and it's all about being consistent and intentional with your choices that brings you long term benefits. And in the journal you get regular opportunities to reflect on where you're at with quick check-in prompts, and to track and celebrate your progress breakthroughs, moments of personal growth and achievements, no matter how small.

And it's really about enjoying the feeling that seeing your progress over time can provide, and the motivation and inspiration that that will give you to press on with your wellness journey. And if you are a frequent listener here, you know that I love quotes for inspiration. So throughout the journal you'll find meaningful quotes from thought leaders in wellness.

So take a moment to absorb these words of wisdom and allow them to ignite your inspiration. Reflection and also let them serve as gently reminders of the collective wisdom that really exist and the profound impact that prioritizing wellness can have on your life. So this journal has been built around seven pillars of wellness, which represent the important aspect of your life on which you stand.

All of them are within your control and work together in a holistic and interconnected way. And it's contributing to your overall wellbeing and providing the nourishment that you need to create and sustain a life of balance, purpose, joy, and fulfillment. Just as a majestic oak tree draws strength from its interconnected roots, this seven pillars of wellness, intertwine, supporting and nourishing every facet of your being. Forming a deep foundation for a vibrant and thriving life.

And the seven pillars are mindfulness, sleep, meaningful relationships, nutrition and hydration, dreaming up your future, self-care and exercise.

So let's get started with mindfulness.

Mindfulness is simply being aware of what is happening right now without wishing it Were different.

Enjoying the present without holding on. When it changes, which it will. Being with the unpleasant, without fearing it will always be this way. Which it won't. And that's a quote by James Baras. So nurturing mindfulness opens the door to present moment awareness and self-discovery. By practicing mindfulness, you can cultivate a profound sense of clarity and inner peace through simple techniques such as mindful breathing, meditation, and conscious observation.

You create a deeper connection with yourself and the world around you.

The second pillar is nutrition and hydration.

Let food be their medicine and medicine be their food, fueling your body with nourishing foods and staying hydrated are essential elements of holistic wellbeing.

Explore the power of conscious eating. Embrace a balanced diet that supports your physical, mental, and emotion vitality, and discover the joy of mindful nourishment, savoring each bite and honoring your body's needs. Hydration two plays a vital role in your wellbeing. Revit yourselves supporting optimal function and fueling your energy.

Number three is exercise.

Take care of your body. It's the only place you have to live. It's a quote by Jim Rohn. Engaging in regular physical activity is a gateway to vitality, strength, and aging well through movement. We discover the innate power within our bodies and cultivate a deep connection between mind, body, and spirit.

So embrace a diverse range of exercises from gentle stretching to heart pumping workouts, and find joy in discovering what resonates with you and I. Always try different things to see what works for me. So let exercise be a celebration of your body's capabilities and an opportunity to nurture your overall wellbeing.

The fourth pillar is sleep.

Sleep is the golden change that ties health and our bodies together by Thomas Decker and I could not agree more with that. Sleep. Is so important. So recognize the importance of restorative sleep and rest in your wellness journey. Quality. Sleep rejuvenates your body enhances cognitive function and supports emotional wellbeing.

Create a nurturing sleep routine. Cultivate a calming sleep environment and prioritize self-care rituals that promote deep and restful. Slumber. Allow space for rest as well, and embrace the transformative power of a good night's sleep and awake and refreshed, ready to embrace the possibilities of each day.

Sleep is one of the things that I focus on all the time, and when I do it just makes a massive difference on my overall wellbeing, but also how I am able to. Do all the things that I wanna do in my life and create my dream life. Number five is dreaming up your future. The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams, and that's Eleanor Roosevelt quote, which I love.

Unlock the power of envisioning and manifesting your dreams. Allow your imagination to soar as you dream. Your future, visualize the life you desire, set inspiring goals, and embark on a journey of growth and transformation. With the guidance around this wellness pillar, you'll discover that dreams hold infinite possibilities and be inspired to take intentional step towards them.

We all need things to look forward to, and I think that is so important to have something to look forward to every single day.

The sixth pillar is self-care.

Self-care is not selfish. You cannot serve from an empty vessel by Eleanor Brown. Embrace the transformative practice of self-care, recognizing your worth, and prioritizing your wellbeing.

Self-care includes nourishing your body, mind, and spirit, honoring your needs and setting boundaries. Explore self-compassion, self-reflection, and self-expression. As you journal around this pillar, remember that self-care is not indulgent. It's an act of love and empowerment that allows you to show up fully for yourself and others.

Last pillar number seven is meaningful relationships.

Connection is the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued. When they can give and receive without judgment, and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship. It's a quote by Renee Brown. So we need to nurture the power of meaningful relationships and connections in our lives.

Recognize the profound impact that authentic connections have on your overall wellbeing. Cultivate deeper connections with loved ones, foster friendships, and engage in the community. Embrace vulnerability, empathy, and active listening to forge bonds that uplift and support you on. So there you go. Now you have a deeper understanding of the framework and how it's been created to offer you a wonderful opportunity for self-reflection, growth, and intentional living.

So ask yourself, where are you at right here, right now, and let's start by reflecting on each pillar of your wellbeing and rating where you feel you're at today. And when we do that, make sure you are honest and kind with yourself. It's your starting point and it'll serve as your baseline. Best of all, it'll help you see the progress that you make over time on all the pillars of your wellbeing.

There are great satisfaction that will come in the days, weeks, and months ahead when you look back where you came from and celebrate your progress and commitment to living well. And keep in mind, this exercise of rating yourself is here to cultivate self-awareness, inspire growth, and empower you on your path to wellness.

Just let each rating be a gentle, positive reminder of the commitment you are making to nurturing your mind, body, and spirit. Embrace these opportunities to celebrate the start of your journey and the beauty of progress. And remember that quote, progress not perfection. For each pillar of wellbeing, reflect on your last few months, your recent experience, and rate yourself based on your own perception.

Don't overthink it. Just go what feels right for you in this moment? Over time, this will help you track your wellness journey, identify areas you would like to improve and celebrate your achievements. So I really hope that this has inspired you to start your own wellness journal wherever you are. And if you need some support, I will link to our new wellness journal that are focusing on these seven.

Wellness pillars that I think will help you really get your journey started. There is a beautiful quote that says, within the intimate dance of paper, lies a sanctuary for the soul, where the written word becomes a pathway to self-discovery. Wellness, and that is why I'm so passionate about journaling because it's such a beautiful way of working on yourself and your dream life and your wellness path, whatever that is for you, I can't wait to hear what you are going to focus on.

So please let me know in the Facebook group your dream life. If you need any support with this, let me know. Because wellness is very much part of my dream life coaching program where we're focusing on wellness as much as we are focusing on creating our dream life. Because when we don't have our health and wellness and energy, we can't make our dream life happen.

So that's why this is so important and something I am really, really passionate about. Have a wonderful week. As always. I'll be back next week with another inspiring guest, so make sure you subscribe, so don't miss it. Thank you.
