Hi there, and welcome back to another Monday Motivation episode!

I'm Kristina Karlsson, and I’m here to help you start your week inspired, focused, and ready to create a life you love.

Today, we’re diving into a powerful quote that, when applied, can transform the way you approach your dreams:

"Plan your work and work your plan." – Napoleon Hill

This isn’t just a clever phrase—it’s a formula for success. If you take this to heart, you’ll be amazed at what you can achieve.

Why is planning so important?

Many of us have big dreams—whether it’s starting a business, writing a book, improving our health, or making more time for the things that matter. But dreaming alone isn’t enough. A dream without a plan is just a wish.

The difference between people who wish and those who achieve? They plan.

Here’s why planning is crucial:
1️⃣ Clarity – Writing down your plan helps you define exactly what you want.
2️⃣ Focus – A structured plan eliminates distractions and keeps you on track.
3️⃣ Confidence – Knowing your next steps gives you the motivation to take action.

I always say, if it’s not scheduled, it’s not real. The more specific your plan, the more likely you are to follow through.

Three Steps to Plan & Execute Your Goals

Step 1: Set Your Intention & Prioritize

Ask yourself: What’s the one thing I truly want to achieve in the next 90 days? Be specific. Instead of saying “get healthier,” say “walk 5K every morning” or “meditate for 10 minutes daily.”

Prioritization is key! You don’t have to do everything at once. Just focus on your top priority for the next 90 days and watch the magic unfold.

Step 2: Create a Simple Plan

Break your goal into small, actionable steps. What needs to happen weekly? What daily habits will support this?

Use a planner, journal, or digital tool—whatever works for you. I personally use the Daily Progress Journal, which I designed to fit my planning needs.

Step 3: Take Consistent Action

Progress happens one small step at a time. It’s easy to get caught up in wanting big results immediately, but consistency is the key.

Think of it like training for a marathon—you don’t run 42K on day one! You start with short runs, build stamina, and progress over time. The same applies to your dreams and goals.
