[00:03:40] Natasha: Oh, thank you so much, Christina. I'm very, very excited to be here.

[00:03:44] Kristina: Uh, before we get started, I wanted to ask you a question that I ask all my guests, and that is, did you have a dream as a child, something you wanna do or have or become?

[00:03:59] Natasha: Yes, [00:04:00] I did. I dreamt of becoming a ballerina. However, I've got a little bit of a story about this. because I loved performing. I felt called to perform and I put on little pantomimes for my, for my parents and dress up my little brothers and make them perform. And I would be dancing around my lounge room, feeling the music and, and loving, you know, the performance factor.

Loving dancing. But I was actually way too shy to ever attend classes to go to ballet school. I was in fact painfully shy and it was, it was a problem. I was, uh, that kid that would beg the teacher and cry and plead to stay in the classroom at recess and lunchtime because I was just too scared to go out into the playground and.

The other kids. Yeah. So the thought of going into a ballet class just terrified me. and my mom would see how much I love dance and she would encourage me to go, but I [00:05:00] always refused. And then one time I was flitting around in the botanical gardens. I think I was, I was about nine or 10 years old, and a lady saw me and she came up to me and she said, Oh.

would you like to learn ballet?

Strange lady. And the funny thing is that happened to me many times, people would say, oh, you should learn ballet. Would you like to learn ballet? And I'd say, oh no. And you know, I'd say the same thing to my mum. And then this lady, when she asked me for some reason. I felt compelled to just give a different answer.

Maybe I was sick of constantly saying no. Maybe the universe was putting words in my mouth, but for some reason, yes, came out of my mouth and the lady went and spoke to my mother and she happened to be the best friend of the director of the National Ballet Theater.

And so my mom said, right, that's it.

Now you are, you are going to go to ballet class 'cause you told this woman that you want [00:06:00] to learn. And so I did. And I ended up getting a scholarship for six years to the Victorian College of the Arts, where I spent my whole high school years. But what's interesting is, and I'm gonna bring this back to the astrology, is that.

I was so incredibly shy, and I attribute this to a couple of factors in my chart, but also to my Leo moon, and I have a Leo signature in my chart, although I'm a Gemini son, but Leo is the sign of confidence, right? It's, it's the sign that sort of claims the spotlight in life, but I feel really strongly to educate people that the themes associated with all of these Zodiac signs are not necessarily.

We are not necessarily naturally born into those gifts and those qualities, sometimes it can be about developing those qualities and those themes in our lifetime. So for me, part of my Leo moon signature was about learning to be [00:07:00] more confident. And so the dream of my childhood really set me on that path.

If you had have told my childhood self with that dream of becoming a ballerina, but being too scared to even step out on the playground, that I'd be not just, going to ballet class, but that I would be on stage performing for two and a half thousand people at the state theater,

[00:07:24] Kristina: Yeah.

[00:07:25] Natasha: um, professionally and, and even doing what I'm doing now.

I wouldn't have believed you. So yes,

[00:07:32] Kristina: That is so inspiring and you know, I didn't know that about you 'cause when I met you and I wanna, I want you to share a little bit about your journeys because we have a global audience and not everyone will have. Heard about you yet, but I'm sure they will. And definitely from now on.

But when I met you, so we, we have mutual friends and we met many, many years ago when I just came to Australia. I don't think I've told you this, but I always felt you had this [00:08:00] amazing aura around you. And, um, you know, we were in a group of friends who was often very loud and very, very, a lot of a type personalities in that group.

And, I always felt drawn to you because I felt you were so kind and so nice and just had these amazing, inspiring aura around you. I don't know if I ever told you this, but I always loved when you were part of the gathering, so we sometimes found ourselves in, and, uh, it's been many years since I've seen you, but you know, you exactly like I felt, uh, back then.

[00:08:34] Natasha: Oh my. I'm actually tearing up a little bit. That is the most beautiful and the most generous compliment. And I had no idea that you thought that about me. So, gosh, thank you so much for sharing that. gosh, I thought about you, that you were strong, you were powerful, you knew exactly what you wanted, and I, I, you were like this mysterious enigma of strength and character and certainty.[00:09:00]

So there's a bit of mutual admiration that we shared for each other, so.

[00:09:04] Kristina: Yeah, no, thank you. Thank you. I was, yeah, it was funny, funny back with Camilla and Magnus and it was so, so fun and so, yeah, really great. So, you know, it's funny how you, how you meet people when you come to a new country and then, you know. A couple of decades later, we know we're sitting here doing something completely different.

It's so exciting. But let's talk about your journey a little bit. Maybe take us back a little bit for you shared with us, you became at ballerina, but you did so many other things as well. So maybe just share a little bit about your journey and then we're gonna dive into the most exciting latest project, which is your new book.

So let's just start with your journey.

[00:09:44] Natasha: Oh, okay. So, yes, and I've, I, I think I've covered the whole dancing and, and, and ballet part of my early journey. Uh, I did go on to dance with the Victoria State Opera, and I was a classical ballet teacher. really harnessing my [00:10:00] mercury Saturn conjunction, which is mercury is about how we think and how we communicate.

Saturn is the tough task, master planet of the solar system. And I have these together in my chart. So I think dancing or a, a discipline like that is a good way of harnessing that energy. Anyway, uh, so that was the dancing and then I, I went into a modeling journey 'cause I figured I want to travel. And I wanted to do it, not with a ballet company, but I wanted to do it independently.

Modeling was a fantastic vehicle to see the world, and I did that off and on. I just traveled off and on. and you, you knew me.

then. And I would sort of dip in and dip out, uh, again. Uh, so I did that for about 10 years and then I got married. And, you know, my ex-husband. And so we were in that friendship group beforehand.

unfortunately then after the marriage and I, after the birth of my first child, uh, challenging period for me.

personally because, there was an [00:11:00] affair. Uh, husband had an affair and the marriage didn't work out. But it took me 10 years of grieving to act. Leave that marriage. And I know we were talking about that before and, and I was saying how very grateful I am for having had that experience because it's really made me into the person that I am today.

And I wouldn't have had the courage, to spread my wings and do what I'm doing. Had I still been in that. I mean, the emotionally, the marriage wasn't a safe zone, but being married to the person that I was married to was, you know, a very strong minded, powerful personality. I think sometimes that can hold you back from really embracing your own power and taking risks and stepping out of that sort of comfort bubble.

That was true for me anyway. and then I started astrology, I needed to do something of my own. The whole world had sort of opened up to me after the marriage ended. truth be told, I started studying astrology in [00:12:00] the marriage, but then I wanted to do something with it once I was footless and fancy free.

And I figured I'd just see clientele in my home office and I was really excited about doing that. And so I first put out. It was my first Instagram post and I'll start there, just put something out and I wasn't really ready to show the world, but I remember getting my first four follow four followers and that terrified me.

Oh my gosh. People are actually looking at what I'm doing. Anyway, I just, I just kept, you know, finding the courage to put my ideas out there and then things started to really snowball. And I have to say that I do feel. That I was on path with my destiny because the universe just kept presenting me with opportunities.

I didn't hustle for anything. I don't know if that's something to be proud of. You know, I, I really admire people that can hustle now and, [00:13:00] uh, I'm trying to learn that quality a little bit myself in my business, but. It was a series of opportunities. And when one thing would fall away, another thing would step in.

So I started by, I was building my website. I asked my, uh, one of my clients actually to write a testimonial for my website and he said to me, you know, you should write an article. And, um, I'll present it to one of my editors. 'cause he happened to be a journo. And I said, oh, and here's the funny thing, the self-doubt correct you in again.

And I said, do you know, oh no, I, I can't write. I cannot write. I had my old English teacher's voice in my head,

[00:13:43] Kristina: Yeah.

[00:13:44] Natasha: I can't write. And he said, no, no. Writing's easy. Yes, you can. So I have to just sort of stop and say, even though the opportunities presented themselves to me, I didn't have to hustle for them.

I'm really proud of myself for stepping up and saying yes. I mean, most of them scared [00:14:00] me, but you know, especially to the ones that scared me the most, and writing was part of that. So anyway, I did it and that's when, uh, that article was presented to Body and Soul and, uh, the editor said, yes, great, the article, but I'm also looking for a monthly horoscope, columnist.

I. So bang, that opportunity happened and then I moved from there to news.com au writing their weekly horoscopes. I started writing also for Mama Mia, and I started doing weekly horoscopes there and writing articles on astrological events that were happening, and I was really thrilled to be doing that because that was bringing astrology in.

That's more. Greater complexity than just focusing on the sunshine horoscopes. And then from there I did a podcast with iHeartRadio, did uh, radio for Kiss fm on the night show. And then I got the morning show on Channel seven, wrote the horoscopes for [00:15:00] Channel seven primetime News, which. No longer happening, but do you know what?

I'm so very proud of that because that was a really tough gig and I won't get into that now because I know I've gone on a lengthy, lengthy answer. But, um, that was a world first to be bringing astrology in any way, shape or form to prime time news was a huge breakthrough and for astrology, and I'm incredibly proud to have been a part of that.

And then, um, you know, I'm still doing my. Weekly segment on the morning show, which I love to do, and I love that they allow me to talk about the weekly astrology, not just the horoscopes. So I give a weekly tip and I love doing that and I'm so proud of that as well. I think, I don't know if that's a world first or if that's an Australian first at least.

And then writing the book, and that was, you know, another humongous journey. So yes, it's been a series of interesting and wonderful opportunities that I'm [00:16:00] so very grateful for, and each has taught me something new.

[00:16:03] Kristina: Yeah. Amazing. Thank you so much. I wanna pick up on something, uh, I can't wait to get into talking about the book, but before we do, it was something you said, so you had a really challenging I. 10 years. And you were saying that you wouldn't be the person you are today if you didn't go through that. And that's, I love hearing that because you know, if you, if people look at you on television or on podcasts, they will just think that you have everything, you know, all your stars aligned.

But um, but I know that that's rarely the case from, for anyone who is doing a good job because all of us. Have our own challenges, whatever they are. and the hardest part is going through them, but then once you go through them, there are always silver linings and you already acknowledge that because you wouldn't be the person you are today.

But I think that's so important to talk about because often when we look to someone like you, you'd be like, uh, she had it all perfect and [00:17:00] you know, look at her, but. It's rarely the case that I see that and it's why I think podcasts are so amazing. 'cause you can unpack a little bit of that. And did you feel like you always had that insight where you, when you were going through it thinking this is actually, this is gonna be good one day?

Or did you really struggle to see that kind of light at the end of the tunnel?

[00:17:22] Natasha: Oh, I, I struggled. I struggled for a long time. It took me a long time to step away from the dream of who I thought, not just who I thought my partner was, but I. Myself and, and how I envisaged my future. you know, that's such a massive grieving process and when there are children involved as well, there's a myriad of emotions that you are battling. There's, there's guilt. There's the shame, there's the questioning your, your worth, questioning your desirability and all of that. and I think having [00:18:00] traveled through the complexity of all of those emotions and coming out the other side, I think what that does is it, is it.

It not only builds resilience, but it creates empathy. Well, and I honestly don't think that I would be the astrologer that I am today without having traveled through those experiences and learnt the empathy at, you know, so I could understand the different experiences that people go through.

And I, you know, yes, the marriage and the circumstances around there, it wasn't just the ending of a marriage. It was a, you know, it was a, a 10 year affair. and sort of me sort of hanging on trying to be the strong person and trying to fix it all, which was just, you know, never going to happen. but also there were other things as well.

You know, I, I, I had my health challenges like really severe health challenges and when you get to the brink of Your health like that, uh, that definitely changes. [00:19:00] It definitely changes you. Um, and you become so very grateful for every moment that you are alive and well. And I think you don't take things for granted that you may have taken for granted had you not have gone through that experience.

So, you know, there, I, there has been loss as well. We were talking about before, uh, the loss of a child, uh, that I went through. So, do you know what though? When you go through that, it's obviously, it's, it's, tumultuous and it's horrible. But coming out the other side, there's so much to be grateful for.

Swear, I'm, that's what I am today and I just hope that I can use those experiences to support other people, particularly other women, through their difficult times and through their challenges. And helping them also to maximize their, you know, most opportune periods and be grateful for those to use.

And my, my way of doing that is, is through the astrology, so,

[00:19:57] Kristina: Yeah. And you know, I think, 'cause [00:20:00] I run a coaching program and, uh, a lot of people who come into my coaching program might not know what they're gonna do, or not sure what the next, you know, stage of their life is. And I, I see this so often where people gone through a really challenging city might be, you know, sickness or health issues versus, you know, relationship issues, business issues.

And then they take That challenge and help other people going through it and or find their new path through that. And I think that's what makes the challenges so exciting. Not when you're in a middle of it, but once you've gone through it and looking back, because I feel now having lost my business, I feel like I've got so much I'm so much more clear what I want in my new business, which is great, but also I can help so many other people and also know.

how hard it is as an entrepreneur, it's really hard and this, the scariest part of being an entrepreneur is losing it all. And I did that and I never, ever thought that I would do it. And I did it not once, but twice. And [00:21:00] uh, it was so hard. But now I have that. I guess hindsight and, experience.

And now I'm not scared of any challenge 'cause I've gone through the worst, uh, in business, and you know, what you've gone through with health and also losing a child, I cannot even imagine. So every challenge is obviously different but getting through that and having that gratefulness and I'm so grateful now gone through that because I, I've learned so much and I'm so grateful for everything that I've got. And when you're an entrepreneur, you, you know, if you've done it once or twice, you can do it again. So that's the exciting, with having that kind of gratitude, but also the attitude. But let's talk about your amazing book.

But I, before we do, I just wanna say I am so basic when it comes to, uh, anything with, uh, astrology. So. I'm gonna assume that there will be a lot of people like me, so that's why I love your book. So we're gonna link to your book, but before we actually start about, talk about astrology. What made you write the [00:22:00] book?

[00:22:00] Natasha: Yes. so firstly, I, I love that you're anology novice, because that is my mission. And I guess that's part of the reason of why I wrote the book?

I really wanted to dive deeper into the 12 Zodiac signs. I felt like, you know, we were starting to get into a real cookie cutter, stereotypical interpretation of what they were, and I.

just wanted to unpack it more.

And I thought, okay, so the people I really speak to are the people that are not necessarily. Astrology experts, although, I mean, certainly they're welcome as well, but I feel that my calling and my mission is to help educate and hold the hands of people who don't really know much about astrology. You know, maybe they love to read their horoscope.

Maybe there's just feeling like there's. More out there in life. and they want an additional tool to help them navigate life. And astrology might appeal to them, but they don't know much about it. So that's [00:23:00] where I really feel that I step in. So I started writing the book to be about the 12 zodiac signs and really I'm like, I'm really gonna get in there.

I'm talking about the personality, the strengths, you know, the areas to work on, the sex style, their love language, the health and wellness. All of the facets of a person's zodiac sign. But I go a little bit deeper, of course, into the mythology, the mythological story of each sign, which, I think is a beautiful kind of way of looking at things as well.

And, you know, go into a list of everything to do with a sign. And my motivation for doing that was, I don't know if you remember, But even if you weren't into astrology, most people know Linda Goodman's Sun Sign book, and that was a New York Times bestseller. She then went on to write the Love Signs.

Linda Goodman's Love Signs, and they were my inspiration for writing the book. It was all about the 12 zodiac signs. But of [00:24:00] course, and I'm sure you hear this a lot, being connected to many authors, once you begin. Writing the book then takes on a life energy of its own. And so I didn't stop at the 12 sun signs.

I did go deep, but then I thought, well, let's take people on a little bit more of a deeper journey. Let's talk about their moon signs. Let's talk about their rising signs. And so in reading the book, it's almost like a little bit of a birth chart consultation. Because you can layer up all the different parts of yourself through the different placements, um, of your chart.

So you can, yes, learn all about your sun sign. And if all you know is that you're a Taurus or a Gemini or an aquarium, you can get a lot of information from reading the book, about that. Then if you wanna go deeper, you know, I'm, I'm hoping to take people a little [00:25:00] bit deeper and to introduce them into that part of themselves that they may not be aware of. Yeah.

[00:25:07] Kristina: Yeah, I love that there's so much in there, as well, but. One thing. I read my horoscopes when I was young. I, and I still do. and this is, this will be a really interesting angle, I think, because I am a person who really, truly believe that there's only one person who can make our dream life happen.

'cause this is what my mission is to inspire people to live their dream life. And that is ourselves. Because I feel like there's so many people who we can blame politicians. The what's happening in the world and our partners and our childhood. So many things, and some of them will definitely be valid.

But in the end of the day, if we were, regardless of what have happened, there's only one person who can make our dream life happen that is ourselves. So sometimes when I read my horoscope, I'm like, I don't wanna rely on it. And you, you [00:26:00] mentioned before, it's a tool, so can you just talk about that, that we are still in control Terms of creating our dream life, but we can use astrology as a tool to perhaps make it easier or, a bit more evolved.

[00:26:15] Natasha: Absolutely, and I'm so glad that you brought this up because I. Fully believe that free will always plays a part in our life. And I talk about this in the book and I use the analogy of twins. Twins whose birth charts, and whose star signs are. Very, very similar, but sometimes their lives can take quite different parts.

And so we definitely have a blueprint that we are working with, and certain energies that we are working with, but in the birth chart, and we have all the planets in their respective zodiac signs. So every planet in every Zodiac sign has a [00:27:00] positive and. Not so positive or a negative expression, and it's up to us how we work with that energy. Even if we have a challenging configuration in our chart.

I believe that those challenges often create the most powerful and the strongest personalities. These, when you look at and you assess. Hundreds of charts, and you can see that these placements are often in the charts of people who do amazing things, and sometimes the people with all the gifts and the ease and the benefits and the talent, they can kind of swim around in circles.

Yeah.

So I encourage people to use astrology as a tool and to understand that their free will definitely plays a part in how they choose to manifest what's in their birth chart. Yeah.

[00:27:51] Kristina: Yeah, I abso absolutely love it. So So I knew, well, obviously I know what I am and I follow the horoscopes, but there [00:28:00] was so much more in the book that I didn't know anything about. And um, I loved how you laid it all out, but I feel like I need to probably read this book a couple of times 'cause there was so much information and I was like, oh, this is so exciting.

So, for anyone who's new to histology, so obviously you know your, your stars, most people know their star sign, but. what is next in terms of learning? So I'm gonna encourage everyone to read the book so they get all the basics, but for anyone who just wants to learn while they are listening to this podcast, where do people start?

Because I also realize that a lot of people don't know they, birth time, which I think is really, a key part of astrology. So just talk us through that in terms of people who wants to kind of deep a little bit deeper than just the horoscope.

[00:28:46] Natasha: Okay, so firstly yes. The book is a massive, people have called it an astrology Bible. I actually presented Penguin with three half books. And they combined two of them [00:29:00] into one book. so there's a lot in there. It's not necessarily a book you might read from cover to cover. It's the sort of book you'd have sitting on your bedside table or on your coffee table, and you might refer back to it maybe if you're single.

You refer back to the, the love, and compatibility section when you're meeting someone and, and check out what your compatibility might be. But you can definitely start with reading about your sunshine and really unpack and get familiar with the qualities. Both the positive qualities and the areas to work on with your sun sign.

And then the last part of the book has got to do with, the planetary cycles and how we can navigate the planetary cycles. So that isn't just about who we are, what our strengths are, et cetera. It's also about the, planets that are. Moving in the sky and how they affect us through our daily lives.

And all you need to know to really read that section is your [00:30:00] age. So I describe all of the planetary cycles according to your age because, for example, when we are experiencing a Saturn return, so this is when Saturn returns to the exact position that it's in, in your birth chart, at your time of birth.

This brings about. A whole lot of, challenges and certain experiences around the age of 28, 29. And this is often when people step up to the plate, they might, take on extra duties, extra responsibilities. Sometimes people will take out a mortgage, other people will get married. for some people they might deal with health challenges at this time, and this depends on where Saturn is placed in your chart as well.

so that is. The last part of the book according to your age. But then I would say to the people that want to go a little bit beyond that, the first thing that they would do would be to get their birth chart calculated. Now. I will have to be honest and say that if [00:31:00] you don't know your birth time, then there are certain factors in your chart that you can't know about, that you can't rely on, and that would be your rising sign, your midheaven sign, and the placement according to the houses.

In your chart. So those things, if you dunno your time of birth, you cannot find out about. so I strongly encourage people to find out their time of birth if they can, if they can't, and a lot of people can't. Um, in Australia, I don't think, you know, we, we have to write our birth times on the birth certificate, so that's very unfortunate.

I'd love to see that law changed. but if you can't, there is still so much that you can understand about yourself because the planets such as Venus, mercury, Venus, Mars, all the slow moving planets, you can still understand what their placement was. And what Zodiac sign these planets are placed in, because that doesn't change according to the time, the hour.

The [00:32:00] moon is a tricky one. if you get your birth chart calculated and the moon is in. 15 degrees or so of a sign. So I'm going to just mention very briefly, this will be very confusing to people who don't know about astrology, but it just helps you understand the complexity. so in astrology, everything's measured according to degrees, minutes, and seconds or so.

There are 30 degrees in a zodiac sign, and this is where the math of astrology really steps in. And I'm big on just people knowing that it's quite mathematical, you know? And a lot of, for example, clairvoyance will use astrology in their practice, which is beautiful. But astrology can stand on its own as a mathematical and esoteric practice.

I call it, you know, the perfect balance between math and, and mystic. Yes. So if the moon is in the middle of the sign, so around 15 degrees, if you are looking at your chart and it, and it tells you that, [00:33:00] then you can safely assume that the moon was in that sign on that day of birth, even if you don't know your time.

So I guess the first thing to do would be to get a, the birth chart calculated, and you can do that on any good reputable astrology site for free. Now you won't be able to interpret it, but it then, if you follow an astrologer and if you follow along with astrology such as you know that there's a full moon occurring in Libra and you know you've got a Libra moon, then you know that that is going to impact you more personally.

so I. Can say that I'm working very hard on building this free service for people, so they'll be able to come to my website and calculate a free birth chart. And I'm really hoping that that's going to be coming out very soon. Um, I mentioned to you earlier, I'm working with a lot of teams across a lot of different continents.

And, uh, to make this, this is my dream, to make this [00:34:00] come to life so that I can offer people a free birth chart. And this will be a wonderful tool to help them dive deeper into their own astrology and help them to understand how it all impacts them personally.

[00:34:11] Kristina: Yeah, I love that. So we'll link to your website so when you have that ready, people can, uh, access that. So thank you for sharing that. For people who are listening and want to create their dream life, how can they start using some of the tools to kinda make that a maybe quicker or maybe easier?

Um. Towards their dreams and goals and even habits.

[00:34:39] Natasha: I mean, I think astrology is a fantastic tool to use to create your dream life. I mean, I've certainly used it to create my dream life so I can, uh, I can say that that is true. So two things. I would say. Firstly, it would be about awareness of self, and this is where, I think astrology can really help.

Once we are looking [00:35:00] at the birth chart, we can look at all of the placements and understand ourselves better. I was speaking earlier about my Leo moon and understanding that that contributed to that experience of being incredibly shy, but then also it was going to push me to develop confidence later in life.

And there's something about seeing it in black and white and understanding, oh, okay, this is why I am the way that I am, this is my potential. Not just understanding where you're at now, but where you can go, uh, with the placements in your birth chart, with your astrological DNA.

So it's about really harnessing that self-awareness. That's incredibly powerful. And I think once we're aware of our potentials. Also aware of our, our weaknesses as well that can be empowering also to help us figure out how we are going to create our dream life and maximize our potential. Uh, number two would be [00:36:00] timing.

Astrology is all about timing. It's got to do with the planetary cycles and the timing of that, the lunar cycles, you know, and it is timing. Within timing. It's cycles within cycles. So once we understand the timing, we know when we can push forward with a project, for example. We know when is a good time to, to put ourselves out there, uh, to, to start a new relationship.

You know, we know when is a good time to maybe start a new job. All of this timing or when to hold back. All of this timing can just help support our journey so that we are not wasting our energy. Trying to push forward on something where we should perhaps be reassessing and redoing, or when we should be going health leather and just moving forward with things.

So this has got to do also with planetary retrogrades. Retrogrades are a time that. we should not be pushing forward with anything [00:37:00] new, but it can be a brilliant time to go back over old ground. And I used the Mercury retrograde in this way. for my book, I finished the book on a retrograde because I knew that that was a time when I could literally cut myself off from the outside world and go into massive hermit mode and just finish that book, which I, I literally did, and then I launched it.

I launched it on an eclipse. And that is never wise. and you might sort of think, why wouldn't an astrology do that? Because I had a very limited window with Penguin, and it was in eclipse season. So I had to move forward and sometimes we have to do things. Now this is a complex topic because sometimes it's just not, it's not about.

Doing it or not doing it. Sometimes we have to move forward. For instance, in a [00:38:00] retrograde at a time when astrologically, it's ill-advised, but sometimes it's important to still move forward. It's not a good idea to hold back, for example, if you need surgery or if you have to sign a contract and leaving, it would be a mistake or lose you that opportunity.

So in that case, I would say. You have to move forward, but just trust the universe or the astrology has a bigger plan in mind. And for me, I believe that, uh, launching the book with all of the twists and turns and unexpected events that that occurred. That weren't great, and I decided to do a relaunch fairly recently and that was the time when the book went to number one, and I did it on Mercury retrograde.

So I repeated that cycle. I went back over old ground at that time, and it was absolutely brilliant for that. And I think that. I needed that redo. I needed [00:39:00] that lesson because I have learnt so, so much, which will serve me well in what I'm going to be doing in my future. So it was basically all meant to be, it was all meant to unfold in that way.

And I use the astrology as best I could.

[00:39:15] Kristina: Mm. I love that. Thank you so much for sharing that and it's amazing and congrats reaching number one as well. So, so inspiring and you know, so great to hear that you've actually not just, you know, preaching, but actually practice what you've preached, which I absolutely love. Uh, so I'd love for you to just, uh, before we finish off, 'cause there's so many things I wanted to, touch on, but I'm curious to hear about 2025 because we, there are lots of challenges and I feel like every year has its own challenges. It's just live. But I feel like this year there's a lot of things going on. So can you give us a bit of a tip?

How we gonna move forward as creating our [00:40:00] dream life in a, um. Lots of things happening right now in 2025, and I'm sure there's a lot of things happening with it. All the planets aligning for us to kind work with that, to create our dream life.

[00:40:13] Natasha: Yes. So 2025, I'm not gonna lie, it is an incredibly challenging year,

and that is because we've got all of the outer planets changing Zodiac signs, and that's a big deal because many of these outer planets take. Many, many years to make one orbit of the sun. And so when they change a zodiac sign, which they do very infrequently, we feel that on a worldwide generational level and just to have one planet change, Zodiac signs, one outer planet change Zo Zodiac signs in that year,

That can trigger major change. So to have all of them that really sort of speaks [00:41:00] volumes about all of the change, and innovation that we'll be seeing in 2025. And I wanna just say these changes, change can often be very uncomfortable. Very difficult, and I don't think we are going to see the end of 2025 without being shaken out of our comfort zones, to put it lightly.

on the other hand, I do believe that we are stepping into a bigger and brighter future, but I think just initially that transition period. Is going to be challenging. So for example, Jupiter will enter cancer for the first time in 12 years. This year, Saturn will enter Aries for the first time in 29 years.

Uranus will enter Gemini for the first time in 84 years. Off the top of my head, all these numbers. But and we've got Neptune entering Aries, which has just happened for the first time in 164 years. And Pluto, Pluto just entered Aquarius at the end of, [00:42:00] last year or reentered, 'cause it's been dipping in and out.

But it's spending its first full year in Aquarius for the first time since the late 17 hundreds. So it's a revolution, it's innovation, it's enormous change. and how can we work with that? Well, the different planetary energies will bring about different qualities, and different experiences of course.

And that said, I do also wanna remind people that I'm talking about the planetary changes and how they're affecting the world, but how we experience them individually is going to be varied. Because remember that we have our own birth charts and where that planetary change occurs in our chart is going to affect some of us more strongly, and some of us not really at all on an individual level.

And imagine. Take Covid, for example. during 2020, it was for most people a very challenging year, but for [00:43:00] others, for some they had a fantastic year for whatever reason, which I won't go into, but it just goes to show you that we don't all experience the same planetary shifts and changes. In exactly the same ways or on the same level.

I think, um, if I can just speak to Neptune's, shift into Aries, which is a, a really big shift once every 165 years to really harness this energy I'd, I'd recommend becoming more self interested. This is. Telling us to be more self-promotional. You know, does this relationship suit me? And I think a lot of people might be sort of stepping up and asking those questions, does this job really value my worth?

And we could see, you know, people making a lot of changes towards what suits them better. Aries is a sign that in its shadow, it can be really selfish. Here's what I was talking about before, about the positives and the negatives of every Zodiac sign and every planet [00:44:00] for. Selfishness is a negative trait, but self-interest and self-love and self-care is the positive side to that.

[00:44:09] Kristina: Hmm.

[00:44:10] Natasha: So, um, I'd encourage people to lean into that positive sign of Aries and we all have every Zodiac sign in our charts somewhere. So, I hope that sort of answers the

[00:44:24] Kristina: Yeah. I love that. I love that. Thank you so much for sharing. That's that. I can say this is a challenging year for many people, but, um, there's always some, some positives in there for sure. I'm curious to hear about your morning ritual. I love hearing about people's morning ritual as say, astrologists.

Do you have any specific practices that you do in the morning or any time of the day?

[00:44:47] Natasha: Well, I, I start my day?

with two glasses of purified water that is definitely, uh, non-negotiable. And then I'll grab a cup of organic macha tea. [00:45:00] and then I, I do like to move, you know, having had that dance background. I know that I need to move my body because then what I do is I sit at my computer and this is the part of my job that I absolutely detest is still in front of a screen.

but it's a way of, uh, communicating my ideas. And being a Gemini, I've got a whole lot of ideas swirling through my head. I usually wake up thinking about things having. Certain inspirations, you know, I love my work. Once you learn about astrology, you really never go back. And I'm constantly, Yeah.

coming up with, new ideas and, and new ways of communicating those and, and having a lot of fire in my chart as well.

There's a lot of motivation. Yeah. but that said, with a lot of air with, which is the Gemini, uh, and a little bit of the mental mania and the fire, which is the motivation, I know that I need grounding. so that's something that I [00:46:00] should probably be incorporating in my morning ritual. And in an ideal world, I'd be doing a bit of Qigong, which is, barefoot on the grass.

looking at the sun in the early, early hours of the morning and working with the energy there. I did that for a time and it was just exactly what this fiery air sign person needed. but of course, we get into that zone and into that flow state, and it's difficult to pull ourselves out and do what we know we need.

[00:46:34] Kristina: Yeah.

[00:46:35] Natasha: Uh, struggle to do. So I'd say I stick to the glasses of water and the green tea and the movement, and then I sit down to communicate.

[00:46:43] Kristina: Yeah. Yeah. Love that. Thank you so much for, for sharing. Another question that I have is how do you have a favorite non-fiction book or a book that had a really big impact on your life? And most people who come here have a couple, so that's fine too. If you, [00:47:00] if two comes to mind.

[00:47:02] Natasha: I think, gosh, I think my absolute favorite would be Creative Visualization by Shati Quain.

[00:47:09] Kristina: Mm.

[00:47:09] Natasha: I read that book in my twenties and it just resonated so strongly with me because I realized that I had already been doing that quite, I. Naturally as a child, I am a very visual person, so obviously people, uh, some people are visual and other people learn in in different ways, but, um, for me that really resonated.

That technique works. That's my favorite manifesting technique, um, to visualize. And so I really believe that where our attention and energy goes, we can manifest our desires, and that book really taught me about that.

[00:47:51] Kristina: I love that. Thank you. I haven't actually read that book, so that's, I'm going to put that on my long list of books to read.

[00:47:57] Natasha: Yes, I'm sure there's a long list. [00:48:00]

[00:48:01] Kristina: Thank you. This has been so inspiring. There's just one more question that I wanna ask. Knowing what you know now, what kind of advice would you give to your younger self? Say, you know, your late teens, maybe early twenties.

[00:48:15] Natasha: Mm. Well, I'd say. I tell my younger self not to be scared to just be who she is and not to take things so seriously.

[00:48:27] Kristina: Yeah.

[00:48:29] Natasha: Life when you look back and, you know, you sort of reach a ripe, a riper age and you look back and you realize that taking things so seriously, I don't think I would've cried half the tears that I cried.

and I think that. Yeah.

Life is so, so precious and not to take it so seriously and not to get us be so hard on on ourselves. I think that is the most important thing, really. And then we can be free to really embrace our gifts and to really step into our [00:49:00] power and embrace our potential. But when we are fearful, when we take things so seriously, that can really hold us back from doing that.

[00:49:07] Kristina: Yeah. Absolutely love that. Thank you so much. And first, thank you so much for, um, coming on the podcast and sharing your wisdom, but also writing a book that all of us can learn. I, I love when people actually take the time to write a book, which is not easy having done it myself, but I just find it so amazing where people are.

Focused on one particular area and learn so much about it. And then you can take part of that by reading that book. So, and link to it for anyone who are interested, going much deeper. There's so much to learn. It's such a great book. And also thank you for being such a beautiful human and, uh, sharing your wisdom and, um, and just being the person that you are.

So thank you.

[00:49:54] Natasha: Oh, thank you. Thank you. Thank you so much. I'm so grateful to you. thank you.

for having me on your amazing [00:50:00] show, and I truly appreciate it. Thank you.
