TRANSCRIPT:
Hi there, and welcome back to your Monday Motivation episode. Wherever you are—walking, driving, or enjoying your first coffee—take a deep breath and feel that fresh‑start energy Mondays bring. I love Mondays. I love Monday mornings. And I love this episode because it began as something I created for myself when I needed a lift to start the week.
Today I want to share a simple, life‑changing truth—one of my favourite quotes by Theodore Roosevelt:
“Believe you can, and you’re halfway there.”
Everything begins in the mind. Every dream, every project, every shift starts with a single thought: I can.
Think about it: every dream that ever came to life began with belief. I remember my 3:00 a.m. moment years ago. I had no money and no plan—just a head full of doubt and a heart full of dreams. The one thing I did have was belief. Deep down, I knew there was something more waiting for me. I’m so grateful I trusted that belief, because once I started working on my dreams, my life changed completely. That little spark of belief moved me from dreamer to doer.
The same is true for you. When you believe you can, you’ve already climbed half the mountain. Belief gives you the courage to start.
Let’s make this practical with three small, powerful ways to strengthen your belief this week:
1) Catch your inner voice. Notice when you think, “I can’t,” “I’m not sure,” or “That’s not for me.” Gently shift it to, “I can learn,” or “I’m becoming someone who can.” You don’t have to jump from doubt to total confidence overnight. Just soften the edges of your self‑talk.
2) Prove it to yourself with action. Belief grows when you do something—anything. Take the tiniest step: write down your dreams and goals, reach out to someone, or set your alarm a little earlier. Tiny actions become evidence you can rely on. Remember my favourite reminder: progress, not perfection.
3) Surround yourself with possibility. Choose to be around people who aim high. Read uplifting books. Spend time in spaces that lift your energy and remind you what’s possible. Belief is contagious. When you’re in a community that dreams big, you start to believe big, too.
This morning, pause and ask yourself: What’s one thing I’ve been telling myself I can’t do—that I actually could if I believed I could? Write it down. Say it out loud. Let that belief take root. When you do, your energy shifts. You show up differently. You take the first step, make the call, open the new door—and before you know it, you’re halfway there.
If you’re ready to strengthen your belief muscle and set your mindset for a new chapter, I’d love you to join me this November in the Dream Life Coaching Program for a special workshop on setting your mindset for 2026. It’s a beautiful guided experience where we’ll reset your thinking, reimagine what’s possible, and build the mindset you need to step confidently into your next chapter—perfect timing to make 2026 your best year ever. Inside the program, we do the work together—that’s what makes it unique. I know how easy it is to consume content and skip the doing. That’s why we carve out the time and momentum every Monday so you can simply get started.
You’ll find all the details at yourdreamlifestartshere.com—and we’ve linked it in the show notes. If you join, I truly believe it will be transformative.
As you step into this new week, carry this with you: Believe you can, and you’re already halfway there. Try it on for size this week.
I wish you a beautiful Monday and an amazing week ahead, full of belief. Start thinking about the mindset you want to build for 2026. Your dream life is waiting. Believe, plan, and take the next small step.
I’ll be back on Friday with another episode. Until then, dream big, take inspired action, and keep believing—because when you believe you can, you’re already halfway there.
