#416 - IS 2026 GOING TO BE YOUR YEAR?

As we edge towards a brand-new year, I want to ask you a simple - but deeply powerful - question:

Is 2026 going to be your year?

Not just a “pretty good” year, but a year you consciously design.

A year where you stop postponing your dreams, get clear on what truly matters, and begin living a life that feels meaningful and aligned for you.

In this solo episode, I’ll guide you through a gentle but honest reflection on where you’re at now - and who you want to be by the end of 2026.

We’ll slow down together, breathe, and really consider:

  • What do I want more of next year?

  • What do I want less of?

  • What are my top three dreams for 2026?

I’ll walk you through a simple future-visualisation (you, at the end of 2026, feeling proud and alive), and then we’ll turn that into three powerful focus dreams for the year ahead.

Not 20. Not 101. Just three - because three creates clarity, focus and momentum.

Hi there and welcome back to Your Dream Life podcast. I’m Kristina, and I am so grateful you’re here with me today, because this might be one of the most important episodes of the whole year.

I know that’s a big statement, but I truly believe it. I want to start by asking you something really simple – but deeply powerful:

Is 2026 going to be your year?

Really think about that: your year.
The year you come home to yourself.
The year you get clear on what truly matters.
The year you finally stop postponing your dreams and goals – and start living them.

And I don’t just mean “a good year”. I mean a year you consciously design and intentionally step into. An amazing year.

Right now, as we approach a new year, we have such a sacred opportunity to pause, breathe, and ask ourselves:

  • What do I want my life to feel like next year?

  • Who do I want to become?

  • What do I want to be able to look back on when 2026 comes to an end?

Because here’s the thing: life is short.
Beautiful, unpredictable, magical… but short.

I don’t say that to scare you. I say it because it’s the truth. Years roll by. Seasons shift. Children grow. Loved ones age. And in the middle of it all, we grow too.

If you’ve been telling yourself:

  • “I’ll start later.”

  • “I’ll start when I get time.”

  • “I’ll start when things calm down.”

  • “One day I’ll get to my dreams…”

My friend, one day is not a day on the calendar.

And you deserve so much more than a life lived on autopilot. You deserve a life you love. A life you are awake in. A life you choose – one that feels meaningful to you.

A dream life is not necessarily a bigger life. It’s a life that you create on purpose, and it has meaning.

So let’s begin. Let this be the moment you say:

“Yes. 2026 is my year.”

I’ve done this work myself, and I am so ready to make 2026 my year – and I really hope you are too.


Year-changing moments come from within

One thing I’ve realised through my own highs and lows – building a global business, kikki.K, losing everything during COVID, and then rebuilding my life again – is this:

Year-changing moments rarely come from outside us.

They don’t come from a date, a job, or a specific circumstance.
They come from within: from a decision, from clarity, from courage, from the willingness to slow down and listen to the whispers of your heart.

Your dream life won’t happen accidentally.
It will happen intentionally.

And this episode might be the start of that intention for you.


Why next year needs a different you

Before we plan 2026 – which we’ll do together in the Dream Life Coaching Program – let’s acknowledge something:

If you want next year to feel different,
you can’t go into it as the exact same version of you.

Your life is created by your decisions, your habits, your priorities, and the little actions you take every single day.

There’s no “right time”. There’s just time – and what you choose to do with it.

Life is too precious to sleepwalk through another year.

So instead of waiting for circumstances to shift, let’s decide you will shift:

  • your energy

  • your focus

  • your habits

  • your courage

  • your willingness to dream again

Because when you change, everything changes.


A future-self reflection for December 2026

Let’s do a little reflective exercise together.

I want you to imagine it’s December 2026 – about 12 months from now. You’re sitting somewhere peaceful, maybe with a cup of tea and your journal. It’s the end of the year.

You feel proud.
You feel grounded.
You feel deeply alive.

Now ask yourself:

What made 2026 such a meaningful year?

Breathe into that question and let the answers rise.

Did you start something?
Did you stop something?
Did you finally commit to creating your dream life?
Did you get clarity on what matters?
Did you choose wellbeing?
Did you reconnect with joy?
Did you create boundaries?
Did you say yes to something bold and beautiful – and maybe even a little bit scary?

These answers matter because they are guiding you. Your future self is whispering the truth.


Three powerful questions for 2026

Here are three things I’d love you to reflect on and journal about.

1. What do you want more of in 2026?

Not just “success” or “health” – go deeper.
What do you ache for?

Maybe it’s peace.
Creative expression.
Confidence.
Adventure.
Presence.
Connection.
Financial freedom.
More time. More space. More laughter.

Write your answers down in your journal, because writing your dreams is where transformation begins.

2. What do you want less of in 2026?

Life gets lighter not just by adding, but by releasing.

Maybe you want:

  • less stress

  • less rushing

  • less comparison

  • less clutter – mentally and physically

  • less self-doubt

  • less living for others’ expectations

Imagine how freeing next year could feel if you consciously choose what you will let go of.

3. What are your top three dreams for 2026?

This is the heart of the Dream Life method: choosing three dreams for the year.

Not 10.
Not 20.
Just three.

Three is powerful.
Three gives focus.
Three creates momentum.

Your top three become your compass – and everything else becomes noise.

When you break these dreams down step by step, quarter by quarter, they become not just possible, but inevitable.

The way I do this is to brainstorm everything I want in 2026… and then choose three. This is exactly what we’re going to do together in the Dream Life Coaching Program.

How to make 2026 really count

If you want next year to be your year – not just another year – here’s what you can do:

1. Create your Dream Roadmap

Dreams fade when they stay in your head. They come alive when they’re written on paper.

Your future self will thank you for doing this work.

This is why, inside the Dream Life Coaching Program, we start with reflection and values. Then we move into dreams, obstacles and planning. This is the work we’ll be doing together in December, January and beyond.

2. Build small, consistent habits that support your dreams

Your dreams don’t happen from intensity; they happen from consistency.

From daily, imperfect, loving habits.

This is why I love sharing my 12 favourite habits so much. In the Dream Life Coaching Program, we focus on one habit each month, all supporting your Top 3 Dreams.

Choose one habit per month – just one – and commit to it. We’ll go deeper into habits in February inside the program.

3. Don’t try to do it alone – get support

You know this: when we share our dreams and surround ourselves with people who are moving forward, we move forward too.

Our brains are wired for community and accountability.

This is why coaching works.

“Yes. 2026 is my year. I choose it. And I am ready.”

Because you are ready. You’ve always been ready. You just need this moment of clarity.

So take a deep breath. Place your hand on your heart. And step forward.

Your dream life isn’t a fantasy. It’s a decision, a practice, a journey – a way of living with intention.
