Good morning and happy Monday. Welcome back to another Monday Morning Motivation episode.

It is a brand new week. A fresh start. A blank page. I love Mondays.

Today I want to share this quote with you:

“Momentum begins the moment you decide what you truly want.”

Let that sink in.

Momentum does not begin when you feel motivated.
It does not begin when you have the perfect plan.
It does not begin when everything lines up neatly.

It begins the moment you decide.

Not wish.
Not hope.
Decide.

Because until you decide what you truly want, your energy is scattered. You say yes to things that do not matter. You get pulled into other people’s priorities. You start projects and abandon them. You feel busy but not fulfilled.

But the moment you truly decide, something shifts.

Your brain starts looking for solutions.
Your time begins to rearrange itself.
Your courage rises.
Your habits begin to align.

That is momentum. And it starts internally.

Why Decision Creates Momentum

When you decide what you want:

You stop negotiating with yourself.
You stop entertaining every distraction.
You stop doubting every next step.

You move differently.
You speak differently.
You show up differently.

Think about a time in your life when you made a firm decision.

Maybe it was leaving a job.
Starting a business.
Committing to your health.
Moving cities.
Saying yes to love.

The moment you decided, things began to move. Not perfectly, but forward.

Because clarity creates direction.
Direction creates action.
Action creates momentum.

How To Live This Quote This Week

Let’s make this practical.

Here are five simple ways to implement this quote starting today.

  1. Decide on one thing

Not ten. One.

Ask yourself this morning: What do I truly want right now?

Maybe it is to feel stronger.
To launch something.
To write that book.
To create more calm.
To grow your income.
To protect your energy.

Do not overthink it. Choose one thing that matters. Write it down. A decision on paper becomes powerful.

  1. Turn the desire into a statement

Instead of saying, “I would love to…” say, “I have decided to…”

There is power in language.

I have decided to prioritise my health.
I have decided to grow my business.
I have decided to create a peaceful home.
I have decided that 2026 will be different.

Feel the difference. One is passive. One is powerful.

  1. Take one immediate action

Momentum loves action. Small action is enough.

If you have decided to get healthier, go for a ten-minute walk today.

If you have decided to grow your business, reach out to one potential client.

If you have decided to write a book, write 200 words today.

Do not wait for the perfect plan. Movement creates clarity, not the other way around.

  1. Remove one distraction

Momentum also comes from subtraction.

Ask yourself: What is draining my energy that does not align with what I want?

Mindless scrolling.
Saying yes out of guilt.
Procrastination disguised as research.
Negative self-talk.

Decide what you want and then protect it.

  1. Revisit your decision daily

Momentum builds through repetition.

Every morning this week, remind yourself: “I have decided.”

Say it out loud. Let it anchor you.

Doubt will whisper. Fear will appear. But decisions silence noise.

The Deeper Truth

You do not need more motivation. You need clarity. And clarity begins with honesty.

What do you truly want?

Not what looks good.
Not what others expect.
Not what feels safe.

What excites you?
What stretches you?
What feels aligned?

The week ahead is waiting for your decision.

Momentum is not something you chase. It is something you create the moment you decide.

If you are not clear on what you want, there is still time to join my new workshop, Get Clear on What You Want in 2026. It is happening tomorrow, Tuesday 24th February. If you cannot make it live, we will send you the recording. There is one promise in this workshop: you will gain clarity on what you want in 2026.

Here is your gentle Monday challenge:

Before this day ends, decide one thing.
Write it down.
Claim it.
Take one small step.

And watch what begins to move.

Momentum begins the moment you decide what you truly want.

Maybe this is your moment.

Have the most intentional week. I hope to see you tomorrow. If not, I will be back here as always on Friday.
