[00:00:02] Kristina: there, and welcome back to another episode of Monday Morning Motivation, your Weekly Dose of Inspiration to help you step into your best, most empowered self. Today I wanna start with a powerful quote from Abraham Maslow, and the quote goes like this.

At any given moment, we have two options to step forward into growth or step back into safety. I'm gonna say it one more time. At any given moment, we have two options to step forward into growth or to step back into safety. Let that sink in for a moment. Every single day, every decision, Every tiny choice offers us a fork in the road. One path leads to growth to become [00:01:00] more of who you are meant to be, and the other leads to comfort, familiarity, and often to staying exactly where you are. And here's the truth. Your dream life does not live in your comfort zone. It's outside of the comfort zone where we grow. So why stepping forward matters. When we stay safe, we stay the same. When we step forward, we stretch, we stumble sometimes, but most importantly, we grow. Growth isn't always glamorous. It can feel messy, scary, and uncertain, but it is so worth it Because every little courageous step you take, build confidence, expands your world and brings you closer to the life you dream of, a life that you love waking up to. So how can you step [00:02:00] forward this week?

Number one, recognize your choice points today. Today I want you to notice when do you feel the tag between safety and growth? Maybe it's speaking up in a meeting. Maybe it's signing up for a class, saying yes to an opportunity or saying no to something that is no longer serving you. Each of these moments is a choice.

Choose courage over comfort and ask yourself, what would stepping forward look like right now? It's a really good one to journaling on as well. If you do some journaling or morning pages in the morning. Number two, embrace tiny brave steps. Growth doesn't require giant steps.

It often starts with one tiny brave step. So what does that mean? Maybe it's as simple [00:03:00] as send the email. Book the coffee catch up. Open the journal, and write down your dream. Ask the question you've been afraid to ask. Remember, small steps lead to big changes. And a phrase to keep in mind, and one that you would've heard a million times on this podcast is progress, not perfection.

That is how we grow and that's how we step forward. Number three, create a growth ritual this week. Why not create a small daily ritual that reminds you to choose growth? Here are some ideas. Write one sentence every morning. Today I will step forward by and whatever comes to mind, just write it down.

Here's another one. At night, reflect and celebrate. One moment you were brave. Or pick a mantra like I choose growth today and repeat it. When you [00:04:00] feel fear creeping in, make it easy, fun, and encouraging. Growth is a practice, not a destination, and something that we all have to continue to do throughout life.

So here's a little story to hopefully inspire you. When I first had the dream of building my own business. I was terrified. I had no business background, no money, no network, just a huge dream and a lot of fear and doubt and everything that comes with that. Every single day. I had to choose what I step forward into uncertainty and trust my dream, or would I step back into safety of staying small?

But staying where I was and I did not want that. I didn't always make the brave choice, but when I did those small steps added up and they built a life that's bigger and more beautiful than I could have [00:05:00] ever imagined. A 22 lying awake at 3:00 AM wondering what to do with my life.

If I can do it, you can too. And I'm sharing you on with all my heart. What I really want for you is to create a life that you are really excited about. So here's your challenge for the week today and every day this week. Notice your choice points. Choose one small step forward and celebrate every act of bravery, no matter how tiny you are so much stronger, wiser, and braver than you sometimes realize, and your dream life is waiting for you on the other side.

Of that first step. You got this. Thank you so much for starting your week with me. If you find today's episode inspiring, share it with a friend who might need a little nudge toward growth too [00:06:00] today. And if you haven't yet, grab that journal. Write your dream down today. It's the first courageous step. And if you want to grow with me and a group of like-minded people who are also choosing to grow, today is the first day of May for both my coaching program and my book club Grow. the theme for the coaching program is manifesting your dream life and the habit for the month is all around mindfulness.

So we have a beautiful workshop Plant Night with a beautiful meditation by Dr. Elise Bayview. She's the founder of Mindful in May, and Mindful in Maye is an amazing program. She's been on the podcast, so you can listen to that as well. and in Grow my book club, we are reading the Dose Effect by TJ Power and it's a book that I think everyone should read.

So, if you're not joining us in Grow, make sure you put it on your list of books to read. [00:07:00] Regardless, I will link to the coaching program and I will link to my book club if you would like to join. We've got a special for people who wants to join for a month and see what it's like.

So before I finish up, I would like to send all the encouragement to you for an amazing growth field week ahead. As always, I will be back on Friday with another episode. I'll see you then.
