#372 - YOUR MID-YEAR MOMENT: PRESS PAUSE, RESET AND REIMAGINE

Can you believe we’re already halfway through the year? Time really does fly.

And with that in mind, I’m excited to share this special episode with you — designed as your Mid-Year Moment.

A beautiful chance to pause, reset, and realign with what matters most to you.

If you're feeling off track, overwhelmed or simply ready for a refresh — you're not alone.

This is your invitation to take a deep breath, reflect honestly, and gently recalibrate your focus. No guilt, no pressure — just a fresh page and a soft nudge forward.

In this episode, I’ll walk you through a simple but powerful three-step process that I personally use to check in and reset my course mid-year:

  • Reflection: Learn how to acknowledge the wins (big and small), identify what’s energising you, and gently let go of what’s draining you.
  • Reset with Intention: Discover how to revisit your vision, reestablish meaningful rituals, and rebuild habits that support your dream life.
  • Reconnection: Hear why surrounding yourself with the right support — inspiring, like-minded people — can be the spark you need to finish the year strong.
  • Dreaming Forward: With some simple journaling prompts, you’ll gain clarity on how you want to feel by year’s end — and what to release in order to get there.

If you’re ready to end the year feeling proud, inspired, and aligned with the life you truly want — this episode is for you.

So grab a cup of tea, light a candle, or head out for a walk... and let’s reset together.

As always, I’d LOVE to hear what resonates with you from this episode and what you plan to implement after listening in. So please share and let’s keep the conversation going in the Dream Life Podcast Facebook Group here.

Have a wonderful weekend 💛

TRANSCRIPT:

Hi there, and welcome back to another episode. Can you believe we’re already halfway through the year? I honestly can’t—it feels like these six months just flew by.

This moment right now is your beautiful, sacred Mid-Year Moment. It’s your opportunity to pause, take a breath, and really reflect—not just on where you’ve been, but more importantly, where you want to go. There’s no guilt and no pressure here—just a fresh page waiting for you to begin again.

I often hear people look back at the year with a focus on what didn’t go well. And that’s completely understandable, especially given everything going on in the world. But here’s the thing: you can’t change the past. You can, however, absolutely influence your future.

So if you’re feeling a little off track—or even if you’re just ready to reconnect with your dreams—you’re not alone. This episode is your gentle reminder that you can always begin again.

Let’s get started with Step One: Pause and Reflect.

Before we look ahead, let’s take a moment to acknowledge how far you’ve come. Ask yourself: What are three things I’m proud of from this year so far?

I love focusing on what’s gone well—because if you’re anything like me, it’s easy to focus on what’s missing or what’s still on your to-do list. But the truth is, we’ve all done so much already. We just don’t always take the time to recognise it.

Another great question to ask is: What gave me energy? And what drained it? It’s so easy to get stuck in a loop of doing things that deplete us. When I reflected on this recently, I realised how energising my walks are. I feel lit up on my Inspiration Fridays. I love reading for 30 minutes in the morning, doing some exercise, journaling—all the things I’ve built up slowly over time. I’m not perfect with any of it, but I’ve been consistent, and that’s what matters.

And don’t forget to ask yourself: What lessons have I learned—about myself, about others, or about life in general? This kind of reflection isn’t about perfection; it’s about being present and honest with yourself.

So grab your journal and a pen. Pour your favourite drink, light a candle if you like (I always do), and give yourself this gift of awareness. Because when you understand what’s working—and what’s not—you can make intentional, beautiful decisions about what comes next.

And let’s be honest: if the first half of the year flew by, the second half probably will too. So now is the time to take action.

Now, let’s move on to Step Two: Reset with Intention.

Let’s reset—gently and purposefully. A true reset doesn’t have to be big or dramatic. It can be small, quiet, and still incredibly powerful.

Here are a few ways to do that:

First, revisit your vision. Ask yourself: What would make the rest of this year feel meaningful to me? Try writing a letter to your future self dated 31st December. Describe what you did, how you felt, and what you're proud of. Let yourself really dream here.

Then, refresh your rituals. What’s one small thing you can return to that brings you back home to yourself? Maybe it’s a five-minute morning stretch, a short walk, one page of journaling, or a screen-free midday break. There are so many little rituals that, done consistently, make a massive difference to your life.

Simplicity is powerful—so don’t overthink it.

Next, rebuild your habits. Habits shape so much of our lives, often without us even realising. So what’s one small habit you can commit to for the next 31 days? Something that supports your dreams, goals, energy, focus, or self-belief.

And then, reconnect to your dreams. Don’t wait for January. Your future is shaped by what you choose to do today. Just begin—imperfectly, joyfully, intentionally.

If you chose a word of the year back in January, now’s a great time to reflect on it. Are you living that word? I did this myself recently, and I realised I hadn’t been fully embodying my word. It’s always on my mind, but I saw how I could step it up a little. And I do this reflection with kindness—no frustration, no guilt—just gentle awareness and a decision to move forward.

My word of the year is strong—strong in my mind, in my business, and in my body. When I looked honestly at these areas, I knew there were improvements to make. So that’s my focus for July.

Now let’s move to Step Three: Surround Yourself with Support.

This is something I’ve learned again and again—we are not meant to do this alone. And we don’t have to.

One of the biggest transformations in my own journey happened when I began surrounding myself with people who were also on a growth path—people with big dreams, kind hearts, and the courage to create lives they truly love. Those are the people I want around me. They inspire and support me—and now, they’re just part of my life.

Because here’s the truth: who you surround yourself with makes a huge difference. If you're spending time with people who drain your energy or focus on the negative, that will affect you. But if you're surrounded by like-minded, inspiring souls, you’ll feel more uplifted, braver, and more understood.

If you’re craving that kind of connection and momentum, I’d love to invite you to join the Dream Life Coaching Program—if it feels right for you. As you know, I never want to sell my program to anyone who doesn’t genuinely want to be there. I only want to work with people who are motivated to create their dream life.

So this isn’t a sales pitch—it’s an open invitation.

If the first half of the year didn’t go the way you planned, and you feel like you’d benefit from being around like-minded, supportive people, then this might be exactly what you need.

I absolutely love our Monday night sessions. Of course, I’m biased—I created them! But honestly, the people in the program are so inspiring. It blows my mind and fills me with joy. We meet weekly to reflect, plan, dream, and take aligned action—together. There’s so much joy, encouragement, and absolutely zero pressure to be perfect. It’s more than just coaching; it’s a rhythm, a practice, a supportive community. A place where you can show up fully.

Maybe this is your moment to say yes to you—if it feels right.

To wrap up, I want to leave you with a few journaling prompts. Take a moment this week to explore these questions:

  1. What do I want to feel at the end of this year? Maybe it’s pride, excitement, calm, or even a sense of being unstoppable.

  2. What do I need to let go of to create space for that? Maybe there’s some negative energy, unhelpful habits, or even relationships that are no longer serving you.

I often find that what we need to let go of is the way we think—or how we behave when we’re not really paying attention. So explore that for yourself.

  1. What’s one small, bold step I can take this week? Not next month—this week. Your dream life doesn’t begin someday. It begins today. In small, daily choices. In the people you choose to be around. In the courage to begin again—right now.

These next six months can be your most joyful, grounded, and fulfilling yet.

Let’s finish this year strong. And if you want to join me in the coaching program, you’ll find the link in the show notes—or just head to yourdreamlifestartshere.com.

I’ll be back with another Monday morning motivation episode soon. Until then, take gentle, intentional steps—and maybe I’ll see you inside the program.
