TRANSCRIPT:

Hi there, and welcome back to another Monday Morning Motivation episode of Your Dream Life Podcast. I'm Kristina Karlsson, and as always, I’m so happy you're here to start the week with me.

I want to begin today with a powerful quote:

"You don’t need to be perfect to inspire others. Let people get inspired by how you deal with your imperfections."

Let me say it again.

"You don’t need to be perfect to inspire others. Let people get inspired by how you deal with your imperfections."

I’m not sure who said it, but it’s such a beautiful and powerful reminder.

Isn’t that the essence of being human? Especially for those of us who are dreamers, doers, and ambitious women juggling work, family, creativity - and everything in between - it’s so easy to believe we must have it all figured out before we share ourselves with the world.

But here’s what I’ve learned through building businesses, raising children, losing everything, starting again, and now growing this beautiful Dream Life community:

Your imperfection is not a problem—it’s your power.
It’s where your wisdom lives.
It’s how we connect.
And it’s how we grow.

So today, I want to gently remind you: you don’t need to be perfect to be powerful.

Why am I sharing this? Because I meet so many amazing people who have so much to offer but hold back. They think they need to be perfect before they share. I look at them and see how much value they have - and I want you to know you can share your gifts, just as you are.

Let me share three simple tips to help you live this truth.

Tip 1: Let Go of the Pressure to Be Polished
Next time you want to share something - maybe on social media or with a friend - and that voice in your head says, “It’s not ready... I’m not ready…” - pause.

Take a deep breath. Smile. And share it anyway.

Your messy action will inspire someone far more than your perfect silence ever will.

Try this: write down three things you’ve overcome - even if you stumbled through them. That’s where your strength lies.

Tip 2: Share Your Stories Honestly
Especially the hard parts. We connect through stories - not highlight reels. The times you struggled, felt lost, or had no idea what you were doing but kept going - those are your golden moments.

Inside the Dream Life Coaching Program, we create safe, beautiful spaces where women share their journeys in progress - where the “mess” is part of the magic.

Try this journaling prompt:

“What challenge have I faced that, if I shared it, might help someone else feel less alone?”

Write it down. That story might be just what someone else needs to hear this week.

Tip 3: Progress, Not Perfection
You’ve heard me say this before - and I’ll say it forever. Dreams don’t come to life in perfect conditions. They grow through small steps, missteps, reflection, and realignment.

Try this: at the end of each day this week, ask yourself,

“What progress did I make today?”

Maybe it’s a kind word to yourself. A deep breath in traffic. Or writing down one idea. It all counts.

If you’re thinking, “But what could I possibly share?” - here’s my answer:

Someone is waiting for your kind of imperfect courage.
Someone is watching how you show up, how you get back up, how you keep dreaming - especially when it’s hard.

You don’t need to feel fully ready. You just need to begin.

Let your journey be a lighthouse for someone else.

I don’t know about you, but I always learn best from people who are actually doing it - not just researching or planning, but really living it.

That’s why I look for people who are just a little bit ahead of me.

And speaking of that…

In August 2025, I’ll be welcoming a new group of amazing women into the Dream Life Coaching Program.

This round will be extra special - we’re diving deep into helping you discover your voice, your wisdom, and sharing your gifts with the world - exactly as you are.

If you've been feeling a whisper, a nudge, a pull - like it’s time to step into something more aligned and meaningful - I’d love to support you.

We can do this together.

👉 Just head over to www.yourdreamlifestartshere.com/course if it feels right for you.

I only want those who truly want to be there - and that’s what makes the program so powerful.

As you go into your week, be brave with your stories. Be kind with your heart.

And remember:

You don’t need to be perfect to inspire.

Just showing up makes you inspiring.

Have a beautiful Monday and a magical week ahead.

As always, I’ll be back on Friday with another episode.

See you then 💛
