Welcome back to another Monday Motivation episode, and happy Monday. I’m so glad you’re starting your week with me.
Wherever you are, getting ready, walking, commuting, or enjoying a quiet cup of coffee, good morning. Let’s make this a good week.
Today’s episode is short and designed to give you one idea to carry into your week. Today’s thought comes from a quote I love:
"Wherever you are, be all there."
Six simple words. Yet how often do we actually live this way?
When was the last time you were fully present? Not distracted by your phone. Not mentally planning your next task. Not physically present but mentally somewhere else.
For many of us, the answer is not often enough.
I remember a time when I was physically present everywhere but mentally present nowhere. At dinner, I was thinking about work. At work, I was thinking about home. I thought I was being efficient, but I was actually missing my life.
This happens quietly. Not dramatically, but in small daily moments that add up over time.
Presence is not about slowing down. It’s about showing up fully in whatever you are doing. The meeting, the meal, the moment.
When we are distracted, we make slower decisions. We miss things. We repeat the same thoughts without clarity. People around us feel our absence.
But when we are fully present, everything shifts. Our thinking becomes clearer. Decisions feel easier. We connect more deeply. We actually experience the life we are building.
Presence is a performance advantage. A relationship advantage. A dreaming advantage.
The best ideas and insights come when you are fully present.
So here is your Monday practice.
Choose one moment each day this week where you will be fully present. Just one.
It might be your morning coffee. No phone. No distractions. Just the moment.
It might be a walk. I’ve been practicing this myself by walking to a beautiful spot, listening to a short meditation, and setting my intention for the day.
Or it could be dinner with your family. Or the first 10 minutes of your workday.
When your mind drifts, just notice it and gently bring it back. That is the practice.
Notice and return.
Every time you do this, you build your ability to be present.
And over time, that changes everything.
Your dream life is not just in the future. It is also here, in the small moments of today.
So today, wherever you are, be all there.
